Monday morning was shitty to the maxz. Like fml. There were only 2 patients in on cubicle the day before then suddenly, four new patients and ALL came in under heart failure. First time seeing a cardio patient in GS, maybe Cardio ward was full... cos it's too much of a coincidence that all four came on the same day and all four are related to cardio. Lol anyway seriously man the day was f crappy to the maxz. I was so so so so so so pissed to the maxz. Like really on the verge of just screaming my lungs out. It was so busy and omg, the patient's relative KEPT asking about the medications. The doctor already spoke to her about it and then when we were serving it, she kept asking why we're giving her mom that meds. I mean she's the one who kept saying that her mom is complaining of pain so we're giving her painkillers and then still refused. Wahlau.
I don't know why but i realised a LOT of people think that panadols are useless. Panadols are like the MOST COMMON meds lah. Like almost all the patients in GS have it. I think they think that it's useless because it's something that can be bought by themselves and because it's a common medicine. I mean that's what i think la. I think that because they find it like a waste to come to the hospital and get served panadol when you can buy that outside but it's like the first line of painkillers we give! We always give that with other stronger painkillers. It's to like prevent it but arghhh makes me so irritated when they keep refusing it and yet they still complain of pain. SIGHS.
On the other hand, zomgggg. PET PEEVE: When people interrupt during passing report or when we're serving medications.
Sighs it was so busy man. Then at 2pm suddenly, there were 3 new admissions all at the SAME time. Rempitttt. Plus it had only been like fifteen minutes since the patient got transferred in, the relative started shouting at us why everything was taking so long and why the doctor hadn't come. At us, nurses. Fck. We have to tolerate everyone's bullshit man. I mean how da fug is our fault if the doctor hasn't come yet. We've done our part by informing him, so now WAIT WAIT WAIT WAIT WAIT.
Omg i think the word WAIT and PATIENCE should be plastered everywhere around the ward.
Damn it man, seriously. Plus i took nine cases and i didn't pass report for any. I was like forget it and at 3pm, i went off. I was getting mega stressed man.
Met Nita and Kamala and went Nex. Initially went there to buy bananas but ended up eating Macs too. Lol. KO-ed at home after that. Skyped with my family, awesome. Aiish i feel like staying one year there man. It's like i wanna go NY but at the same time i want to go Nepal too! If i stay at Nepal for a year, it means i can stay in SG till May and complete my graduation, have a long holiday and then explore Nepal but it'll be a lil difficult in NY after that and i'll be 21.
On the other hand, if i go NY quickly, the thought is exciting but it means i'll have to stay in NY for like some years before i can leave it. SIGHS.
What to do?!
Shall bake a cake today, hope i wake up. Awaiting for the next episode, hehehe, Han Ga In, why so pretty?! Need to bathe and sleep, goodnight.
GOD, PLEASE PLEASE let the patients go home. Take care and don't come again, bye.
